IMPORTANT CALL TO ACTION!

There is one more chance on February 8th for you to speak directly to KOA, the firm doing the parking study.

The City of Long Beach hired parking planners KOA, per our lawsuit agreement, to evaluate the parking needs / issues within both Downtown Long Beach and Alamitos Beach. This will be a solution-oriented parking study. We are asking the general public and neighborhood associations to help by filling out a brief survey. This is to give KOA (and us) a better understanding of, and data-supported look at, the parking situation within the study areas.

Please show up and bring a friend. This may be your only chance to express your parking questions and concerns to the people who could help.

Please help spread the word.

Survey - KOA has passed around a hard copy "Intercept Survey" but at the last public outreach meeting, we were told there will be an online survey with questions that are more meant for residents. There has been a delay with the City translating it into different languages. We will post it in our updates and home page once we get it.

Business Associations - If you have not received an invitation to meet with KOA yet, please contact us so we can tell you how to reach them.

Meeting Info:

All are welcome to this meeting even if you don't live in the ABNA area. If you would prefer a more local meeting, contact your neighborhood association.

ABNA (Alamitos Beach Neighborhood Association)

will hold their Thursday, February 8th at 7 pm,

Bixby Park Community Center (Address: 130 Cherry Ave)
